Coming from the sea you see the lock at the very last moment just before the locks of Haringvlietdam. Stay between the buoys. When there are strong winds, entering the harbour can be tricky.

Goereese lock (Stellendam) VHF 20.
When sailing from Stellendam across the North Sea in northern direction (Scheveningen) 2 hours before high water (HW) Hoek v. Holland. In south direction (Roompot) 4 hours after HW Hoek v. Holland.

• Roompot marina 36 Nm (Sijkgat), Scheveningen 28 Nm.

Other information

Marina Stellendam lies at the Haringvlietdam inside the Goereese sea lock. Excellent base for North Sea trips to Belgium, England and of course the Zeeland waters. To the west of the marina lies the fishing port. There is a petrolstation/gasstation which is opperated by the marine store where you can get rid of sewage and bilge water. Propane is also available at the marine store.
