The port can be reached at 2 hours before and after high water. After the pier entrance maintain starboard en course close to "Knucle" and the shore line. Travel on the middle of the river when it becomes wider again. Watch out for strong currents of up to 6 knots. Use long lines when docking.

Along the river Blyth are some nice seafood stalls.
Recreation and sightseeing
Golf course at less then a mile away. On the south shore there is a very pretty village called Walberwick. It has a local beer factory "Adnams brewery". The ferry from Southwold to Walberwich is an authentic rowboat.
Breskens
The Marina dates from the end of the 1940s. The latest development is expansion of the Marine in the direction of Port Scaldis in 1994. This increased the Marina’s capacity to 580 moorings and approximately 80 private fishing boats.
