Accross the ocean in an open boat
Two Americans, one open boat of only 5 meters long and an Atlantic Ocean to cross. Today the heroes arrived in the Netherlands after a long perilous journey.
| No one ever took a similar journey before in such a small boat. Today they reach the first inland waters since they undertook the challenge full of highlights and adventure. Ralph and Bob, two brothers, started their journey two months ago. They've seen, Florida, New York, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, London and the Netherlands. A journey of 12,000 kilometers. |
The journey of the two is intended to collect money for wounded U.S. soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan. Bob and Ralph have not stayed long in the Netherlands. Tomorrow they hope to achieve their goal: a military hospital in Germany Frankfurt. Source: RTV Rijnmond |
