The 60m Bvcintoro project
The Bvcintoro project started in 1991 by Raul Gardini at the Tencara Shipyard, in Porto Marghera, the same constructor responsible for the build of Il Moro di Venezia and Mascalzone Latino, that took Italy to the America´s Cup.

At that time the Bvcintoro was set to be the most beautiful yacht in the world. A beautiful 60m superyacht designed by German Frers, that featured a fast hull, like in the America´s Cup, constructed from Epoxy, carbon and Kevlar composites.
In February 2009 a new owner invited Alex Pirard Yacht Design to develop an exterior design proposal. Though these images are just a preliminar study, Bvcintoro should have 2 carbon fibber masts, the first 61m tall, the second 45m, with around 2.100m2 of 3D laminated sails.
The actual design plans to have a spacious deck with a glass enclosed deckhouse.
