ORC International Europeans - Beluga Sailing is new European Champion
On the strength of three straight victories in today’s three races for a total of 29 points, Christian Plump’s (GER) Rodman 42 Beluga Sailing has won the 2009 ORC European Championship, hosted by Ystad Segelsallskapp (YSS).

This is Plump’s second major ORC championship title, having won the 2007 World Championship regatta. Plump’s team from Bremen, Germany was led by America’s Cup veteran tactician Morten Henricksen (DEN).
